Manchester United won 2 - 0 against Everton F.C. The red devils were going into the match with a defeat from Manchester City from the preceeding match in Etihad stadium.
The boys of Erik Ten Hag secured two penalties in the first half which were converted by Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford in the 12th and 36th minute respectively.
The Old Tradford dwellers are now eight points behind Aston Villa, which is holding the fourth position of the English premier league. The race of securing the Champions league spot is becoming hotter than before.
Everton had tried to create chances in the second half but the defensive line lead by Rafael Varane stood firm and ensured Andre Onana secured a clean sheet after a consecutive matches of conceding goals.
